David Isaac Jones MONROE - Mr. David Isaac Jones, 65, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family Friday, November 23, 2012. He was a native of Monroe, born January 8, 1947, son of the late Harry J. and Naomi Connell Jones. David was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Viet Nam War. He was retired from Charlotte Plastics after many years of service. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27th at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Hampton Jones of the home; daughter, April Chaney and husband Andy of Waxhaw; sisters, Jane Lambert and husband Don of Locust and Ruth Jones of Monroe. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
