David Allen Nixon, Sr., 92, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. He was born November 26, 1926 in Stanly County, NC. He is also preceded in death a sister Dona Medlin. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, 1106 W. Sandy Ridge Rd., Richardson Rd, Monroe, NC 28112. David is survived by a son David Allen Nixon, Jr., two daughters; Laura Grace Nixon, and Teresa Raleigh, a brother William Benton, two sisters; Desser Saunders, her husband Larry Saunders, and Agnes Russell, five grandchildren, and seven great grand-children.
