David Lee Price

David Lee Price, 78, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was born June 9, 1934 in Union County, NC to the late Jay Braxton and Mary Alice Hill Price. He is also preceded in death by a granddaughter Morgan Wakefield, and a brother Danny Price. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM David is survived by his wife Delane Helms Price, a son Darryl Price of Shallote, NC, a daughter Sherry Wakefield of Charlotte, four brothers Rondal Price of Monroe, Bobby Price of Stanfield, Sherrill Price of Monroe, Terry Price of Monroe, a sister Lucy Price Benton of Monroe, two granddaughters Sarah Wakefield of Charleston, and Amy Towery of Monroe.
