David Thomas Revell SR of Monroe NC, born 4-18-60 went to be with the Lord on 2-28-2015 at his home with his wife by his side after a long fight with cancer. Dave was a devoted husband and father, an avid outdoorsman, loved caring for nature, the captain of his boat, and loved salt water fishing. He had a kindred spirit tied to the sea. He was preceded in death by his father Tom Revell and mother Jean Sandlin Revell both of Charlotte NC. He is survived by his wife Becky of the home, (1) son David Thomas Revell Jr. and fiancé Kristen Jendro of Morehead City NC, (1) daughter Ashlee and husband Devin Davis of Monroe NC, (2) brothers Mike Revell of Greenville SC, Stan Revell of Powder Springs Ga, and (1) precious Granddaughter Kynlee Davis of Monroe NC. The family has requested in lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Union County. His services will be handled by Gordon Funeral Home of Monroe NC. They have been set for March the 3rd with visitation at 2:00 and the Celebration of life at 3:00 in the Chapel.
