Deborah Lynn Watwood

Deborah Lynn Watwood, 48, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born March 24, 1966 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of Willie Ruth Hunnicutt Watwood and the late Harry Lee “Skipper” Watwood, III. Debbie worked for Union County Public Schools as a music and chorus teacher, and also for Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. She was the director of Union County Performance Ensemble. A memorial service will be Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 3:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112 In addition to her mother, Debbie is survived by her daughter, Riley Elizabeth Watwood of Monroe and her brother, Skip Watwood and wife Stephanie of Marshville.
