Delane Helms Price

Delane Helms Price, 87, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023. She was born on August 11, 1935, daughter to the late Lawrence Helms and Willie Mae Craig Helms. She is also preceded in death by her husband David Lee Price; brother Donald Helms; three sisters Catherine Parker, Helen Richards, and Margie Hayes; and two grandchildren Morgan Wakefield and Ian Price.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Roanoke Baptist Church 618 Roanoke Church Rd. Monroe, NC 28110, burial will follow the service at Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM - 1:45PM at the church.

She is survived by her son Darryl Price (Teresa); daughter Sherry Price; brother Johnny Helms (Vivian); sister Joyce Moore; two grandchildren Amy Towery, Sarah Curlee; and two great grandchildren Evelyn Curlee, Jonah Curlee.
