Dennis Darrell Benton, 69, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was born in Union Co., NC on January 14, 1955. He was the son of the late Roy Benton and Beulah Williams Benton. He is also preceded in death by two brothers: John Benton and Jack Benton and a sister, Vickie Carter.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Alicia Brown (Jamie), wife, Debbie Benton, one grandchild, Jacob Smith, three brothers; Ray Benton, Doug Benton (Pam), and Roy Benton, Jr (Francis), and two sisters; Carolyn Hicks and Pamela Pressley.
