Dennis “Den” Vann Griffin, 69. Of Monroe, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. He was born in Union County, NC on September 16, 1956; son to the late Wade Griffin and Oris Underwood Griffin. He is also preceded by his brother, Arnold Griffin.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 10:00AM until 10:45AM at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Dennis is survived by his two sons, Jason Vann Griffin (Rachel), and Chris Griffin (Tera), two grandchildren, Gabriel Griffin and Savannah Estep, as well as two sisters, Sue “Diane” Blanchard and Kathy Plyler.
