Donald Bruce Griffin

Donald Bruce “Don” Griffin, 85, of Monroe, NC died Saturday, February 15, 2025. He was born in Union County, NC on January 27, 1940, son to the late Carneice Griffin and Mary Elizabeth Lowery Griffin. He is also preceded by his two sisters, Iris Kiker, Ann Deese, and son-in-law Corwen Parker.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 21, 2025, in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service with burial at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Martha Funderburk Griffin, son, David B. Griffin (Renea), two daughters, Angela Parker, Donna Haney (Greg), brothers, Emsley Griffin (Martha) and Jackie Griffin, sisters, Barbara Bodenheimer, Vickie Griffin, and Denise Presslar (Rodney), four grandchildren, Matthew Haney, Wil Griffin (Lyndsay), Miranda Huneycutt (Jeremy), and Morgan Hall (Stanton), as well as four great- grandchildren, Aiden Griffin, Ava Huneycutt, Hudson Hall, and Haisley Hall.
