Donald Haney, 70, of Monroe, NC passed away on May 16, 2026. He was born in Union County, NC on April 9, 1956.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with a private family burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

He worked for Assa Abloy for 43 years until his retirement. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed antique shopping and car shows. Donald loved to be outside in his yard and cherished his fur babies, Tanner and Brandy.

Donald is survived by his husband of 35 years, Sammy Bailey and daughter Melea Killough.
