Donald Eugene Helms MONROE - Donald Eugene Helms, 66, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC December 28, 1946 son to Mabel Mae Hinson Helms, and the late Horace Eugene Helms. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 with visitation to follow. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline S. Helms, three brothers Wayne Helms and wife Shelia, Doug Helms and wife Debra, and Ricky Helms and wife Christina.
