MATTOX, DONALD FRANKLIN (Age 73) Died Friday, January 31, 2003 in Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Mattox was born in Union County, NC, March 9, 1929, son of the late Lloyd Samuel and Mattie Estelle Hunter Mattox. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired employee of the U.S. Postal system. Mr. Mattox is survived by brother, Kenneth Wayne Mattox of Mint Hill, NC; sister, Barbara Dover of Matthews, NC and several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, February 3, 2003, 1 p.m. at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC.
