Donald Eugene McNeely, 68, passed away June 7, 2014 while on vacation in Denmark. Mr. McNeely was born on July 11, 1945 in Nemaha NE. to Wayne Eugene and Elva Jean Stanley McNeely. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC, 28112. Mr. McNeely is survived by his mother Elva Stanley McNeely of Enid, OK; daughters Carla Zemke of Mandeville LA., Robin Poche of Little Elm TX., and Ginger Felice of Memphis Tenn.; brother Hugh McNeely of LA; sisters Sylvia Steckley OF Dothan Al., and Virginia McColl of Enid, OK; and 8 grandchildren; and friend Judith Ann Fonville of Monroe.
