Donata Marie Funderburk

Donata Marie Hayner Funderburk, 70, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was born August 16, 1952 in Troy, New York, daughter to the late William & Rose Grieco Hayner. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Funderburk.

Funeral Services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, January 26, 2023 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service & Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Donata is survived by her son Edward Carl Ackroyd, Jr. (Shannon Earp), three daughters; Amy Lynn Funderburk (Theo Russell Earl), Angela Gwyn (Trey Commander RET Navy), Jodie Lee Dacy (Charles Nicholas Dacy), two brothers; William Hayner, Jr., and James Hayner, sister Dawn Hayner, eight grandchildren; Brittany Nichole Sharp (Jared Tanner Sharp), Hailey Nicole Earp (Zachary Heath Donahue), Cody Michael Earp (Faith Martin Earp), Tatum Lee Scully (Thomas Wayne Scully, Jr.), Judith Alden Gwyn, FTSN Nathan Hiatt Gwyn, Private Ethan Corbett, and Aris Corbett, and three great-grandchildren; Jackie Marie Sharp, Zayne Heath Donahue, and Levi Michael Earp.
