Donnie Helms Manus

Donnie Helms Manus, 87, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023. She was born in Kings Mountain, NC on January 19, 1936, daughter to the late William Franklin Helms and Velma Helms. She is also preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years Walter Hampton Manus, a son Steve Manus, daughter-in-law Wanda Manus, and sisters Ethal Whiteside and Ruth Pearson.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 11, 2023, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Donnie is survived by her four sons, Frank, Richard (Cheri), Dale (Kathy), and Danny Manus, daughter Helen Manus Renfro (Tommy) and twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and twelve great great-grandchildren.
