Dora Frances Smith

Dora Frances Smith, 86, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019. She was born on December 16, 1932 in Kershaw, South Carolina to the late Percy Elliott Boan and Callie Robinson Boan. She is also preceded in death by her son William Charles Smith. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, August 9, 2019 conducted by Elder Joe Helms and Elder James Carelock at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Crooked Creek Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. Dora is survived by her husband Elder Charles Leslie Smith, son Leslie Elliott Smith (Wanda), daughter Robin Smith McCollum (Mark), five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great granchild. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110. Family will be at 2925 Helms Pond Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.
