Doris Miles Griffin, 63, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013. She was born in Chesterfield County, SC on September 5, 1950 daughter of the late Lonnie Alex and Inez Demby Miles. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband, George B. Griffin, III, daughters, Melissa Johnson, (Robbie Carpenter) of Wadesboro, Alicia McLain (Mark Register) of Monroe, step-sons, Eddie Griffin (Kathy) and Jeffery Griffin (Crystal), of Lancaster, SC, step-daughters, Sheila Gagliardi (Lou) of Lancaster, SC, Kim Bigham (Daryl Boyd) of Rock Hill, SC, brother, Donald Miles of McBee, SC, sisters, Sarah Frye of Spartanburg, SC and Viola Carnes of Jefferson, SC ; grandchildren, Mitchell and Colton Sutton, Harleigh Johnson, Josh and Katie McLain, great grandchildren, Laycee Zearfoss, Lilly McLain, Emily Crawford, Gage McLain and Trevor McLain.
