Doris Kilgore Hannah, 90, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. She was born in Monroe, NC on January 20, 1936, daughter to the late Harry Kilgore and Gladys Johnson Kilgore. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Pruitt Hannah, daughter, Lana Sharon Hannah, brother, Howard Kilgore, and sister, Ruth Underwood.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Oakland Baptist Church, 600 E. Sunset Dr. Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park.

Doris is survived by her son, Billy Joe Hannah, brother, Bob Kilgore, four grandchildren, Cory Hannah, Derrick Hannah, Carmen Headden, Jeffrey Morten, Michael Wright, and five great-grandchildren, Johnny, Kaley, Ava, Jake, and Brody.
