Doris Broadway Long, 84, of Auburn, AL, formerly of Monroe, NC passed away on July 6, 2022. She was born in Union County on May 27, 1938 daughter to the late Atlas and Ruth Simpson Broadway. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Lee Long.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Doris is survived by her two sons; Rick Long (Kena), Wes Long (Melody), a brother, Charles Broadway, two sisters; Nell Helms, Callie Baucom (Keith), three grandchildren; Preston Long (Courtney), Victoria Graveman (Kendall), Haley Bray (CJ), as well as four great-grandchildren.
