Doris Tarlton Love, 80, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014. She was born in Union County, NC on September 19, 1934 daughter of the late Reece Edgar and Oris Myrtle Blackburn Tarlton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard H. Love. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Love is survived by her sons, Mike Love and wife Teresa and David Love and wife Letha, of Monroe, daughter, Linda Warlick and husband Brad of Indian Trail, sister, Carolyn Austin of Charlotte, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
