Doris Sue Pinion Price, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31. She was born February 27, 1942 to the late Clarence B. and Lucy Cook Pinion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Wayne, and her brother Rondel Pinion.

Doris Sue was a lifelong resident of Union County. Retired from BellSouth, former Sunday School teacher and choir member, Doris Sue loved animals and children. She volunteered for Prospect Elementary School’s Good News Club and was one who believed with Christ all things are possible.

Those left to cherish sweet memories of Doris Sue include sister, Teresa Mullis; sons, Greg and Scott; four grandchildren, Seth and Zach Price and Jeremy and Christa Stalvey; lots of nieces and nephews, and great Christian friends who are like family.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
