Dorothea Tenhengel (Dottie) Baucom

Dorothea Tenhengel Baucom (Dottie), 82, of Plantation Estates, Matthews, NC went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 18, 2012. She was born in Morristown, New Jersey on September 4, 1929 daughter of the late John Fredrick and Jean Smith Tenhengel. She moved to Charlotte, NC in 1948 where she married Mr. Johnnie Vance Baucom, who preceded her in death. Dottie was a member of the Weddington United Methodist Church for 44 years. Dottie is survived by several nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC. A memorial service will be held at Plantation Estates Auditorium in Matthews, NC on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Dottie would like to thank Hospice, especially the staff at Huntersville, Plantation WBC, and Camile Timberlake and Lynn Efird for their loving care.
