Ms. Dorothy Louise Herzog, 85, of Waxhaw, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at her residence. She was born April 2, 1930, in Lyndonville, NY to the late William Adam Herzog and Dora Stadtler Herzog. Ms. Herzog graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and served as a Missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Mexico for over 50 years. She was a member of Hermon Baptist Church in Waxhaw. Ms. Herzog is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Marie Scott and Ms. Katharine Herzog, both of Waxhaw and two brothers, William A. Herzog, Jr. of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and John J. Herzog of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The family will hold a memorial service at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw in mid-August.
