Dorothy Maxine Moyer

Dorothy Shepler Moyer, 94, of Monroe, NC passed away on October 29, 2022.

Dorothy was a loving wife and mother. She was born December 29, 1927 in Coshocton, Ohio. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Moyer, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her parents Earl and Sylvia Shepler. Dorothy had two brothers Don and Harvey who preceded her in death and one surviving sister Josephine Myers.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2022 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Cheryl Chance and her children Brad Chance (Erica) and Amy Maxwell (Cody), her son Thomas M. Moyer III (Peggy Deceased 2018) and their sons Matthew Moyer and wife (Sherry), Wesley Moyer and wife (Lauren) her daughter Kay Huggins (Barry) and their son Michael and wife (Morgan).

Dorothy also has 8 great grandchildren. Melissa, Mason, Mackenzie, Ryan, Grace, Hope, Isaac and Elaina.
