Douglas "Doug" Fowler

Douglas Doug Fowler, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was born in Union County, June 4, 1949 son to the late Winfred V. and Kathryn Thomason Fowler. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, with entombment to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Donna Fowler, a son Brent Fowler and wife Lisa, of Monroe, a daughter Andrea Fowler Smith and husband Eric of Indian Trail, two brothers Mike Fowler and wife Cynthia, Ron Fowler and wife Catherine, a sister Cathy Pressley and husband Ken, all of Monroe. He was a wonderful Paw-Paw and adored his four grandchildren Bryce, Kendall, Rayleigh, and Trace. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.
