Douglas Brent “Doug” Haywood, 57, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was born October 10, 1960 son to the late Harry Haynes Betty Ann Pressley Haywood. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday February 15, 2018 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Doug is survived by his brother Dean Haywood, wife Ava of Waxhaw, two nieces Amber Kayla Haywood both of Waxhaw, and Elijah Goley, of Waxhaw.
