With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Dr. George F. Pinsak, who left this world on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, surrounded by his family. As we mourn his loss, let us also take comfort in celebrating the life of this devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend to many.
George Pinsak was born on February 8, 1946, in Niles, Michigan, to George Pinsak and Catherine Larson Pinsak. He grew up to be an educated, hardworking, and compassionate man, always putting his family first and helping anyone in need. He relied wholeheartedly on the principles he learned when becoming an Eagle Scout. His warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew him.
Throughout his life, George was a pillar of strength and support for his family. He was a loving husband, father, and Papa, always there to offer guidance, wisdom, and unwavering love.
Dr. Pinsak's unwavering commitment to his community, his orthodontic practice, and staff was truly remarkable. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to this community created many beautiful smiles and will be cherished for generations to come. His tireless work and passion for his profession serve as an inspiration to us all. His dedication to local charities was steadfast as well.
In his free time, George enjoyed his car collection, car shows, and the family that came with that. At home, he loved his faithful “pups”: Son, Colt, and Carson. He could almost always be found in grungy work clothes, excited about working in the garden or landscaping his property. He shared his passions with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
George was a proud United States Navy veteran. Through this service, he developed a great passion for supporting law enforcement, advocating for military causes, and loving his country.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Haigler Pinsak; daughter, Jennifer Pinsak Penegar, and husband, Jeff; grandson, Hunter Penegar; his brother-like friend, James Covington; and many nieces, nephews, and other in-laws. We are deeply grateful for the love and support shown to George and know that his legacy of love, compassion, and strength will live on in all of us.
