Drexel Atlas Baucom

Mr. Drexel Atlas Baucom age 90, passed away on January 27, 2021 in Monroe. Born in Union County, NC he was the son of the late William Alfred and Alice Brooks Baucom; Mr. Baucom was retired from the ABC Commission and he loved the beach and farming and was a caregiver for his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jean Mullis Baucom. Survivors include his children, David, Teresa, and Amy “Katie”; three grandchildren Gina Rushing, Shannon Lovell, and Daniel Free, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be private.
