Dustin Hayne Plattenburg, 42, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. He was born on May 21, 1980, son of Thomas Hayne Plattenburg and Patricia Eubank Plattenburg. He is also preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Bill and Betty Jones and Paternal Grandmother, Emma Plattenburg.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. The family will visit with friends and family following the service.

In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by his son, Camron Plattenburg of Waxhaw, a daughter, Kailyn, three sisters; Cheryl Smith, (Frank) and their children, Franky, and Corbin (Mary); Jennifer Lloyd (Mark) and their children, Brooke, Austin, Alec, and Robbie; Melinda Thornton, and her children, Miranda, Will, Ansen, Gavin and Sawyer; Paternal grandfather, Tom Plattenburg, and one granddaughter, Lakelynn Vilhauer.
