Earnest B Orr

Earnest B. Orr, 72, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 after a battle with cancer. He was born January 23, 1943 in Cumberland County, NJ. He was a certified registered nurse anesthetist, having served at CMC Union and Anson County Hospitals. He was a member of First Baptist Church East Campus, Marshville, NC, and his Christian faith was the most important aspect of his life. His faith was always a great source of peace and comfort to him. He was an avid golfer, but enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life. He most enjoyed spending time with children, especially his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Mr. Orr is survived by his wife, Deborah Conley Orr; sons, Randall Scott Orr of Latrobe, PA, Michael Lee Orr of Hillsborough, NJ and Brandon Carl Boliner of Marshville, NC; sister, Gloria Kuhns of Camden, NJ, grandchildren, Dallas, Alex, Lilly, Tiffany and Whitney. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law Lisa Orr, Susan Orr and Robin Boliner; and his brother-in-law Ken Conley and wife Judy; and close personal friends in his church family, most especially Tony Bradley’s Life Group.
