Edith Rich Mcmillan

Juanita “Edith” Rich McMillan, 93, of Monroe, NC passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born in Smyth County, VA on February 16, 1930, and was the daughter of the late William Benton Rich and Arfie Elizabeth Sheets Rich. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Marco McMillan; son, William “Bill” Andrew McMillan; three brothers; James Rich, Roy Rich, and Clarence Rich, and two sisters; Pauline Greer and Sarah Eller.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2023, in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, and the burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Mary Breen (Dennis) and Lisa Mullis (Tim); one sister, Violia Alexander; six grandchildren: Alan Mullis, Jennifer Mullis, Andrew McMillan, Brody McMillan, Crystal Mullis, and Brandon Mullis, and six great-grandchildren.
