Edna Mcwhorter Moser

Monroe, NC Edna McWhorter Moser, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010. She was born in Union County, NC on March 23, 1915 daughter of the late Jim and Josie Carnes McWhorter. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Franklin Moser, Sr, son, Wilburn Franklin “Frank” Moser, Jr, sisters, Nancy Pauline Flowers, Emma Lee McFarland, Willie James Eldridge and Johnnie McWhorter Hudson. She is survived by a son, Wayne S. Moser and wife Dianne P. Moser of Monroe, granddaughters, Keely Moser Robison and husband Ed of Charlotte, Tara Moser Ballard and husband Jerry and Amanda Moser Dillard and husband Matthew, both of Monroe, grandsons, Todd Moser and wife, Candrea of Summerville, SC and Scott Moser and wife Amy of Tennessee, great grandsons, Lucas Ballard, Sydney Ballard, and Blaine Moser, great granddaughters, Mallory Johnson, Chandler Johnson, and Devin Moser. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 5300 Nesbit Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173.
