Edna Verona (Caudle) Phillips

Edna Caudle Phillips, 84, went to be with Jesus, Saturday, July 25, 2015. She was born May 13, 1931 in Anson County daughter to the late Jeffery Alfred Verona Edna Tarlton Caudle. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Frank Phillips. She resided at her Belk Mill home off 601 Hwy South for the past 50 years. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Union Baptist Church, with burial to follow in church cemetery. The family will visit prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM. Mrs. Phillips is survived by two sons, Steve Caudle of Baltimore, MD, Frank Phillips , of Monroe, , a daughter Cheryl Hughes of Green Mountain, NC, seven grandchildren, Amy Caudle Ament, Jeff Caudle, Nikki Orndoff, Gerry Hughes, Daniel Hughes, Trey Phillips, and T.J. Phillips, and eleven great grandchildren. Memorial may be made to Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4312 Old Pageland-Monroe Road, Monroe NC 28112.
