Edna Rape Williams, 78, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was born in Union County, NC on November 23, 1934 daughter of the late Dowd Laney and Anniebelle Rape. A private memorial service was held at Gordon Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Williams is survived by son, Ronny Williams and wife Jackie of Mooresville, daughters, Debbie Blythe and husband Gary of Monroe, Lyndia Williams of Concord and Rebecca Williams of Greer, SC, brothers, John Wayne Rape and wife Corabelle of Rock Hill, SC, Joseph Harvey Rape and wife Kay of Wingate, sisters, Sara Rushing and husband Norman of Unionville, Ona Davis and Judy Smith and husband Stan, all of Monroe, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
