Edward Glenn Helms

Dateline: Monroe, NC Edward Glenn Helms, 78, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2009. He was born in Union County, NC on June 12, 1930 son of the late Robert Glenn and Sally Eudy Helms. Mr. Helms was a retired employee of Randall Supply Co. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Helms is survived by his wife, Clara P. Helms, daughters, Elaine H. Thomas of Monroe and Kay H. Walters of Indian Trail, brother, Paul Don Helms, sister, Sarah Griffin, both of Monroe, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
