Edward "Eddie" Parr

Dateline: Waxhaw, NC Edward C. Parr (Eddie), 70 of Waxhaw, NC, formerly of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side Monday, April 2, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. Born August 9, 1941 in Rockingham, NC he moved to Charlotte in 1961. He is survived by the love of his life, Frances who he was married to for 48 years; his daughter, Kathy Haywood and husband David, daughter Kelly Taylor and husband Rodney, son Eddie Parr, Jr. and wife Wendy. Also 6 grandchildren, Ashley and husband Troy, Ryan and wife Brenda, Jordan, Sam, Justin and Jesse, 1 great grandchild, Landon, his mother, Nina Mae Wall, sister, Judy Broadway and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son, baby boy Parr and father Harry Parr. The family will receive friends and family Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6:30 until 8:30 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
