Edward Donald Pfau, 76, of Monroe. NC, passed away at home on July 19, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born in North Lima, Ohio, on October 21, 1942 to the late Faye and Jared Pfau. He was preceded in death by his sister Pauline Pfau Bauman. Ed is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Rebecca Pfau Yanacsek, and grandchildren Robert Lucas Yanacsek and Elizabeth Jane Yanacsek. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Central United Methodist Church, 801 S Hayne St, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 1:45pm prior to the service at the church.
