Elaine Eberhardt Maye

Caryon “Elaine” Eberhardt Maye, 62, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on July 1, 1961, daughter of the late Julius and Bernice Eberhardt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Reid Maye.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079 with burial to follow in Ritch Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00PM until 2:45PM in the church sanctuary.

Elaine is survived by her two sons, Austin Maye, wife Amanda, of Monroe, James Maye, wife Leanne, of Unionville, daughter, Katie Maye Young, husband James, of Georgia, seven grandchildren, Hannah, Landon, Logan, Abigail “Abby” Maye, Daniel, Emma, and Jake Young, and brother, Randy Eberhardt, sister-in-law, Lisa Maye Banks of Kannapolis, nephews, Cody Banks, wife Kayla of Salisbury, and Josh Banks of Salisbury.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
