Elaine Skrevanos Sims, 81, of Monroe, NC passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was born in Illinois on January 6, 1945, daughter to the late Frank Skrevanos and Maria Lagouthago Skrevanos. She is also preceded by her husband Bill Sims.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Elaine is survived by her three daughters, DeAnne Coan, (Mark), Tiffani Hignight (Ken), and Angela Tsakanikas-Deason (Anthony), nine grandchildren, Chase Talbert, Jerrica Rivas, Holden Green, Christian Green, Slade Hill, Alyssa Malone, Lidia Coan, Peter Deason, and Steven Deason, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren, Ryder Talbert, Kynlee Talbert, Aubree Talbert, Broughton Talbert, Kaiden Green, Camden Green, Hudson Green, Aria Rivas, Cash Rivas, Chandler Green, Miller Green, Teagan Malone and Pierson Malone.
