Elizabeth “Ann” Beasley Mangum, 81, of Monroe, NC passed away peacefully at her residence on January 16, 2026. She was born in Union County, NC on May 30, 1944, daughter to the late Charlie Curtis Beasley and Pauline High Beasley. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Kay Beasley.

Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mom and grandma. She spent many years caring for the students at Wingate College. After retiring from Wingate College, she went on to work at Sun Valley High School as the data manager till her official retirement in 2008.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the Lee Park Church Sanctuary, 2491 Morgan Mill Rd. Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow at Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Parks P. Mangum Jr., two daughters, Denise Helms, husband Todd, Julie Mangum, Mike Czyl, and five grandchildren, Bridget, Bryce, and Brooke Helms and River and Reese Czyl.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mandy with Hospice and Lisa with Council of Aging for the care and love they showed Ann.
