Dateline: Monroe Mrs. Elizabeth Cabaniss Pressley 90, passed away February 5, 2011, in CMC-Union. A native of Lockhart, SC, she was born June 25, 1920, daughter of the late Henry B. and Alpha Omega Meggs Cabaniss. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Broughton Pressley and her brother William Joe Cabaniss. Funeral Services will be Wednesday February 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. She is survived by a niece Barbara C. Pope of Havelock, NC, grand niece Amber Rushing and her children Alec, Clark, Evan and Ava. Step daughter Brenda Price of Monroe and her cousins.
