Elsie L. Funderburk, 91, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born June 8, 1929 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Jesse and Cynthia Richardson Deese. Ms. Funderburk is survived by her daughter, Jessie A. Haigler and grandson, Joseph Haigler. Funeral services will be Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in Midway United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
