Ernest John Zellmer

Ernest John Zellmer passed into glory November 6, 2016. He was 92 years old. Mr. Zellmer served with Wycliffe Bible Translators and worked for the Jungle Aviation and Radio Service (JAARS) for fifty years. Prior to this, he graduated from technical school in Chicago, Illinois, and worked in the electronic industry for twenty years. He is survived by his wife, Gladys, and five children, ten grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. A private graveside service will be at the Waxhaw Cemetery, Waxhaw, NC. A public memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Reformation Lutheran Church, 508 N.
