Eva Medlin Thompson, 69, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020. She was born October 27, 1950 in Union County, daughter of the late Marvin Eugene and Flossie Helms Medlin. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Medlin, Johnny Medlin and Wade Medlin. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Unionville Baptist Church, 510 Baucom Road, Monroe, NC. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with relatives and friends on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Johnny Thompson; daughters, Lori Murray (Michael), Shannon Richards (David) and Rhonda Beane (Jason), all of Monroe; grandchildren, Madeline Murray, Johnathon Murray, Abigail Beane, Trenton Beane, Lillian Beane and Joshua Beane and her brother, Robert Medlin.
