Evelyn Jeanette “Jan” Keziah Carter, 75, of Monroe, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born in Union County, NC on January 15, 1950, daughter to the late Alan Boyd Keziah and Virginia Trull Keziah. She is also preceded in death by her brother Allan Keziah.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Hopewell Baptist Church (Legacy Campus), with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30AM until 12:45PM at 420 Hopewell Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.

Jan is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Larry Dale Carter, two sons, Steve Carter (Shannon Morgan), Tim Carter, three grandchildren, Austin Carter, Blake Carter, and Cody Carter, a sister, Becky Keziah and a brother, Dennis Keziah (Lisa).
