Faye Plyler Billingsley

Faye Plyler Billingsley, 91, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born in Union County, NC on June 6, 1932, daughter to the late Ernest and Blanche Rape Plyler.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Curtis Lee Billingsley.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC 28112 with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM in the church sanctuary.

She retired from Newgard Industries as a supervisor. She was a certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church, where she spoke at all the local churches in that district. Faye loved her family and enjoyed it when they were all together. She enjoyed music and flowers.

Faye is survived by her two sons, Ronald Lee Billingsley (Myra), and Steve Billingsley (Tanya), five grandchildren, Ryan Billingsley (Brandy); Greg Billingsley (Ashley); Micaela Cox (Jimmy); Jake Billingsley (Kirby); and Hannah Billingsley; six great-grandchildren, Kimberly Billingsley; Hailey York (Trenton); Charley Billingsley; Noah Partridge Billingsley; Elijah Cox; and Ezra Cox.
