Floyd “Lane” Hamilton, 76, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was born in Union County, NC on April 18, 1939 son of the late Floyd and Martha Bailey Hamilton. He is also preceded in death by an Infant daughter Tracey Ann Hamilton, a granddaughter Kinley Raquel Hamilton, and a sister Mary Jane Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was a US Army veteran and retired from the Textile Industry. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Price Hamilton, sons, Todd (Eunice) Hamilton of Monroe, Tony (Tammy) Hamilton of Indian Trail, Tedd Hamilton (Ellen) of Lake Park, and Treg (B.J.) Hamilton, of Monroe, adopted sons, Jacob and Kaleb Hamilton, adopted daughters, Kyleigh and Morgan Hamilton, all of the home, 2 grandsons, Josh and Ethan Hamilton, stepson, Jeff Stegall of Concord and stepdaughter, Kristy Stegall of Greensboro, and step granddaughter Kaycee Stegall of Marshville. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Price Cemetery. The family will visit prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1417 W.
