Frances (Townsend) Adcock

Mrs. Frances Townsend Adcock 85, passed away December 2, 2011. She was born in Robeson County, NC November 19, 1926, daughter of the late Jerry Ruben Townsend and the late Nora Lewis Townsend. Funeral services will be held Monday December 5th at 2:00 PM in Sardis Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ken Parson and Rev. Ken Hucks. Interment will follow the church cemetery. Surviving is her daughter Louise Helms and husband Donnie of Monroe. Brother Aubrey Townsend and wife Margaret of Bladenboro, NC. Sister Nora Lout and husband of Joe of Elizabeth Town, NC. Step son Dale Adcock of Unionville. 2 grandchildren Dwayne Woodard and wife Amy, Angela Sowell and husband Gary. 2 step grandchildren Adam Adcock and wife Patrice and Dustin Adcock and wife Karen, Also 4 great grandchildren. The Adcock family will receive visitors Sunday (today) from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service.
