Frances Simpson Blackwell, 73, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born April 27, 1949 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Robert Edward Simpson and Annie Lou Freeman Simpson.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Monroe City Cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 1:00 - 1:45 pm prior to the service.
