Frances "Frankie" Haywood

Dateline: Monroe, NC Frances Mangum Haywood “Frankie” passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. She was born August 10, 1921 in Pageland, SC daughter of the late Curtis and Josephine Mangum. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Haywood, a daughter, Brenda Joyce Haywood, a sister, Mary Bailey and brother, Gene Mangum. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Bonds Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial at the church. She is survived by sons, Larry Haywood (Beverly), Gary Haywood, (Sharon Greene), daughter, Kathy Gordon (Bob Swartz), 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and sister, Lib Cox. The family would like to thank Hillcrest Rest Home of Monroe, Kindred Transitional Care Rehab, and Hospice of Union County.
